Intro

I've worked as a freelance film and video cameraman in broadcast television since 1981, filming for many of the outstanding wildlife documentary series produced by the BBC, National Geographic and Discovery Channel including PLANET EARTH, THE BLUE PLANET and COAST.

Many of the 100+ international programmes I've worked on have won major awards. My National Geographic film, KING COBRA, won an Emmy for Outstanding Program Achievement and I have two Emmy awards for Outstanding Cinematography - for National Geographic's THE LAST FROG, and ABC/Kane's DENALI: ALASKA's LAST WILDERNESS.

In November 2006, BROADCAST magazine listed me as one of its HOT100 television talents of the year.

Since 2004 I've been diversifying in to other genres of filmmaking, including features and shorts, music videos and commercials, shooting on High Definition formats - HDCAM, HDCAM-SR, DVC PROHD, HDV, and 35mm film.

I can offer my services as a Director of Photography, Lighting Cameraman, Director-Cameraman or Camera Operator.
